Metal Working Equipment

I know this sounds nerd-like and childish but in MGS4 particularly in the last part were Liquid Ocelot and Old Snake are fighting it out in the 1st and 2nd parts of the fights. I realize the striking pattern as a mix of boxing and karate but what about the joint manipulation, takedowns and ground fighting?
